So, it was suuuuuuper slooooow at work, so I made a vague excuse to leave early and caught the end of Emma's basketball camp.  It also gave me a chance to take some outdoor pictures of my projects - it was even slightly cloudy - so in a quick hour before dinner I took loads of pictures.  (My Etsy pictures need work too!).

Here are the two necklaces I made last week, let me know what you think about my pictures as compared to these from a previous post:

And I had two able assistants:

I'm looking forward to replacing a bunch of my Etsy pix - give me a couple days and then check 'em out!

  1. Taking pictures is a huge weakness for me. I have a cheap camera and it's always so BRIGHT in Phoenix that everything seems washed out.

  2. Oh, and the pics look great. Good lighting and the colors came through great.

  3. I like the overhead shots, shows the design, the beads and the total necklace very well. I might have chosen a different background for the green necklace on the angled shot only because it does not do justice to the necklace, it works well for the pink and turquoise necklace. Try some with very contrasting backgrounds that make the jewelry pop! The necklaces by the way are very pretty.

  4. Taking good photos is a struggle for me also. I find it difficult to get the colors accurate. I agree with Regina about the backgrounds. Such very nice assitants you have!

  5. Looking good, Elisabeth! I much prefer the outdoor lighting. Looks like your daughter is decked out in your jewelry (or maybe her own!) - so cute!
