This week Sally asked us to introduce ourselves to you with a black and white self photo. I took mine goofing around with the Photo Booth program on my lap top. I was going for some moody, I-am-so-an-artist kind of shots at first....
What's funny is I didn't add that pixelated effect...that just happened in the Photo Both to Aperture to .jpeg conversion.
Then I posed in a more honest, less trying-to-be-artsy way...
Still pixelated. Hmmm. The room was darkish. So just now I snapped another one. I think I like it best. I'm even wearing non-sweats and jewelry - bonus!
(For you Star Wars geeks out there, yes, that is a scale model of an AT-AT on the file cabinet behind me. It's Lego and motorized so it actually walks - I bought it for my husband and Michael to build together. It amazingly stayed in one piece, probably because it stays in the office and not in Michael's room)
Speaking of which, we are off to Michael's opening night. We made it through the crazy week - yay! He is super excited and I can't wait to see him on stage tonight.

I like your moody, artsy photo.
ReplyDeleteThe moody artist photo is really cool, but your smile and kind eyes drew me right in! Beautiful photos!
ReplyDeleteSometimes a photo gives us more than we expect
ReplyDeleteGreat peek into your many moods! The last one is my fave.
ReplyDeleteI like your moody pixelated ones just as much as I like your non artsy one. Enjoy Michael's opening night!
ReplyDeleteGreat photos Elisabeth. When I saw the thumbnail I thought you had snow in your hair.
ReplyDeleteYes, me, too - Like your moody pixelated one. Those, on purpose or by accident, turned out super cool. Beautiful shots of you - all three. And, Enjoy Michael's opening night. I would wish him good luck, but I think the correct thing here is for me to tell him to, 'Break a leg'. :-)
ReplyDeleteI love these unexpected effects!
ReplyDeleteI love all the effects Elizabeth, great photos!!
ReplyDeleteGreat photos, but I love the clearest one - we can enjoy your lovely face :)
ReplyDeleteI like all these photos. It's so wonderful to get to see everyone and all the faces behind the blogs!!!
ReplyDeleteGlad you shared them all! The moody one definitely makes me think "rock star flopped on a couch, I'm too cool" But of course getting to see your beautiful face is best of all
ReplyDeleteThose are fun effects that you got! Sometimes those accidents can be sublime! I like to see your smiling face and your eyes. Beautiful you! Enjoy the day! Erin
