Amy over at Copper Diem is a HOOT! She had a brilliant idea late one night - sign up for her hop - she will assign a cocktail - and we create something.  In her words: "Google the cocktail, and use the ingredients, image, color, season it's usually enjoyed, era it became famous, or whatever else to inspire any piece of jewelry."  So, in my case I need to add a few words, "...any piece of jewelry or ingredients for making jewelry sometime in the future."

My cocktail is the Mojito - I haven't ever had a mojito, but the recipes here, here and even the diet one here all sound amazing and not too difficult.

I had in mind the swirls of mint green, clear bubbly, and white of the clouds that form in ice in mind, and grabbed some glass, turned on the kiln, and had some fun.

This one is my favorite...

Since I didn't get these made into jewelry (in fact they came out of the kiln this morning) I would like to give them to YOU!  Leave a comment and I'll draw a name on June 1st.  And definitely check out all the others that are playing along...

  23. These are the perfect mojito beads! A mojito is one of the few cocktails I have actually tried. I used to make them at home all the time with mint from my garden. BUT - it turned out the mint I was using was actually catnip. LOL. I will NEVER live that one down! In my defense, catnip IS in the mint family....

  26. I have never tried mojito but I am going to. I have always liked green but my husband didn't. He passed away last fall so the green section of my stash & clothing has grown substancially. I would be proud to make something with these great beads. Thanx
