One of these days I will move the lamp working books next to the torch. Until then I'll play around and try and remember the techniques I think I remember reading - like the one for stripes. :-)
You girls who do lamp work amaze me, and I am in awe of all the beautiful pieces you make. The first I knew of this word was at Vicki’s Cherry Chick. She does Mary Englebreit inspired earrings, bracelets, necklaces, and watches. Your glass beads are gorgeous. Can’t wait to see what you are making next. genie
Elisabeth has been crafty all her life, but beads and jewelry have been her focus for the last few years. A class in lamp working inspired her to build a studio and focus on working with flames and hot glass. Elisabeth lives in Alexandria, Virginia, with her husband, two kids, and dogs Layla and Griffin, all who are frequent stars of this blog.
