On a special trip on Friday I got these two shots.  Look jewelry-like don't they?

The pictures were actually take on board the USS Cole, a US Navy ship.  Yes, that USS Cole.  I am ENORMOUSLY PROUD to say my brother is it's captain.  On Friday they had a "Friends and Family" cruise and Emma and I got to go along with Andrew's wife Cynthia on a day's cruise in and around Norfolk.  Emma, not one to be effusive, said on the ride home, "Today was a really great day."  You said it sister!  Take a look at all the other macro goodness here.

  2. Absolutely a lot to be proud of! We tried for 2 years to go on a friends and family cruise out of Norfolk with my nephew aboard his ship the USS Truman and it always happened when we couldn't leave work. The rest of the family got to go and loved it too! Great shot of the rope and fencing!
