One of the blogs I follow posted Star Wars craft ideas on May 4th (May the 4th Be With You) to include this book (you can find it on Amazon):

I had to order it.  I have a son who loves Star Wars and he loves doing crafts - as does his sister.  In no time at all he had picked out something he wanted to do and, "Could we PLEASE go to MICHAEL'S and could you MAKE it for ME PLEASE?"  I can't say dragging out my sewing machine was on any of my "get my act together" lists, but that boy can dial up the cuteness so high I can't possibly resist.   And both he and his sister helped...it turned out to be a fun night together.  So Bane the Bantha is what is on my bead table this week.  Maybe next week he'll get fur :-)

  2. So, you know I had to call my boys in to check this out, right? They immediately start identifying the characters on the cover of the book! Boys so crack me up. Kudos to you for the sewing project. And the extra mommy points!
