Per my schedule, Tuesdays are all about travel bucket lists. I am extraordinarily lucky, because early in my Air Force career I was stationed in Japan, near Tokyo. Later on my brother, who was in the Navy, was stationed in Hong Kong, and met my now sister-in-law there, who was from Shanghai. We didn't make it to Shanghai, but we did take a trip to Beijing, where we got to meet her for the first time.
This is all back story to explain why, although I have been to Japan, Hong Kong and China, it's on my bucket list to go back. I have so many good memories, and it's such a fascinating part of the world, so I would really like to show my kids. Someday. For now it's fun to pull out old pictures and relive great memories.
