Sally asked us this week to reflect, to slow down and reflect on the peace, joy, love and happiness in our lives.
Slowing down...that is so hard for me.
I am trying always to get. things. done.
I know that the hurriedness of life means I sometimes miss those little bits of peace, joy, love and happiness that I am blessed to have in my life. And then my husband brings me a treat he knows I'll love from Costco (super fresh tomatoes and buffalo mozzarella - and he hates cheese), and Michael shoots me a secret wink right before his choir sings, and then Emma gives me a super tight, unsolicited hug, and then Layla dog this morning doesn't stomp all over as soon as my alarm goes off. It's all there, I just need to sllllooooowwww ddddoooowwwwnnn.
These were taken with my phone, I stopped to enjoy the view as I helped Michael and his fellow Scouts with Scouting for Food :-)
