It's the time of year for long shadows and short days. This morning I desperately wanted to sleep in, but Michael has a Boy Scout car wash this morning (poor kid - it's like 40 degrees right now!) and the look I got from Layla when I got back from dropping him off said, "Pretty please, I really need to go out for a walk." Sigh. But once we got out there it was such a beautiful, peaceful morning. I found some great shadows to share and now am thinking I might crank up the torch for some creative me time :-)

Can't see the dog in the second picture! You're braver than me.. I run accross the yard and grab my beads at that hour of the morning... maybe that's why I have cats not dogs! Love those elongated shadows!
