The kids are my subject for this week's prompt. They decided to pool their money and buy a cool new camera called a GoPro. It's a super small, super tough camera that is also waterproof. It takes video or you can set it to take quick bursts of still shots. In the dog days of summer, when all camps are done, you combine 2 kids, a waterproof camera and water balloons and you get this...

ReplyDeleteGreat interpretation of this week's prompt :)
Love that first picture with the balloon a burst.
ReplyDeletethey look like they are having fun with that camera. Sadly, the one my son bought with some of his deployment pay was stolen - we think at the airport out of checked luggage. The fiends!
ReplyDeleteHave had things stolen out of my luggage at airports! Looks like they were having a lot of fun!
ReplyDeletePerfect timing to get a shot of the balloon bursting. Looks like they had fun.
ReplyDeleteMakes me want to be a kid again, Elisabeth!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh that first shot is amazing! Oh to be a kid again!
ReplyDeleteOh, wow, you sure captured movement beautifully! amazing shots!
ReplyDeleteThose pics (especially the first) may predict the future of budding photographers. Great!
ReplyDeleteHow fun! My husband, who is still a kid at heart, would love this gadget. Great photos!!!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat awesome shots!! Very cool perspectives! My son takes his go-pro and straps it to his helmet when he's riding his dirt bike. Needless to say I don't enjoy seeing how fast he's going, but they are definitely cool little cameras!
ReplyDeleteHow cool! Looks like you may have some future photographers! Love the picture of the first one! And what is it about boys and camera and sticking their tongues out??? Thanks great post.
ReplyDeleteA Go-Pro. My young adult/kids have one too. They love it. They create all kinds of fun videos that they upload to the internet. They often attach them to their motorcycles and get some really interesting shots. I love the water balloon shots our kids have captured!

ReplyDeleteHow fun! And great that they pooled their own money to buy something they wanted! Cool.
