This week's prompt from Sally is texture! I wasn't sure what I would do, until I picked the latest bounty from our little veggie patch. The only difference between the two in this pile is texture, and a whole lot of heat! Can you imagine if you mistook these Thai chili peppers for green beans? Yeouch!
See other great takes on texture over at Sally's blog,
A brief studio update:
The room is gutted (except the washer and dryer, which we need to keep plugged in until the new laundry is ready :-)) and lumber is in place to frame it out. Guess I better get my act together and get cabinets ordered, huh?
The mouth would get a very rude awakening I think....
ReplyDeleteouch indeed! great photos, and your studio space is coming along nicely...
ReplyDeletehave a blessed week :)
I love the shinyness of them - and they make a great contrast against the others. Lovely photos.
ReplyDeleteMmmmm, lovely texture contrast, and I hope you make some wonderful spicy green beans!
ReplyDeleteMy kitchen is now mostly drywalled with the orignal appliances and a 'tressel sink' MY cupboards have been ordered! Love your veggie pictures... the beans look soft and fuzzy and the peppers almost look slimey!
ReplyDeleteGreat textures, and I like the contrast in color of them side by side. I can't handle heat so the peppers are out for me. I'll take the beans please.
ReplyDeleteOuch is right, great post!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, yes I thought they were green beans! You're project seems to be coming along great, keep us posted!
ReplyDeleteI thought they were two different kinds of beans. I'm glad I didn't get a hold of them. Thanx for sharing the studio update.
ReplyDeleteI saw the picture and thought I had never seen green beans that shiny!!! I'm excited for you about the studio!
ReplyDeleteGreat picture of green beans and Thai chili peppers.. You really captured the contrast between the two.
