  5. Visually they make a better photo is black and white than in color, as there appears to be more contrast.

  6. Cool pictures, Elisabeth...but when I see signs like "Expert Only", well I'd abide by them! Last weekend when we were skiing, I got to the top of a new hill and thought I'd be taking off my skis and walking down (I am a rusty skiier but getting there with more practice!)...I made it fine. My Dad is the one who enticed me up there - he said it wasn't too bad. Once we got off the lift, he admitted he had actually never gone down it before! :-)

  8. Umhm, like Patty, these are signs I would never see - thanks for sharing! I've had skis on my feet all of one time after my best friend, avid skiier, convinced me to give it a try. She promised ot never ask again if I didn't enjoy... it's a good thing we have other things in common!
