Actually, it's the lack of stick that was the problem. So many paper glueing products at our house, including one I just bought yesterday, and I had to resort to paintbrush and Elmers (because the nozzle on the Elmers was dried and clogged, naturally). I was on a mission, you stickless glue, for the worthy cause of asking folks via a colorful poster to donate to buy school supplies for needy kids through this awesome organization. I need help my crafty and artistic friends...what is your go to paper glue? Until then, here are extreme closeups of the offenders....

Ha! I probably have that much in my crafts bin, but mine are Mod Podge, Elmers, and Aleenes.
ReplyDeleteLove the shots of all the different glues ;) I really don't use glue except for the glue we use to put our patterns on copper and for the life of me I can't remember what it is called - how weird.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful day!
I use a lot of stick glue! Usually I find all the sticks down to the plastic nubbin because the kids have eaten them up! I like the drier glue as the paper doesn't buckle from moisture.Otherwise I'm totally into the Elmers...well unless it's glue tape...cough...or gluing cabs....God I really like glue.

ReplyDeleteOh, I'm glad I am going through the I Heart Macro linkups. Thank you for that link to the devotional. I may just have to join along once I've moved and settled into our new house. :-) Thanks again!

What a cute idea for a macro! My glues vary. I do use glue sticks on lighter papers, but often use Gel Medium or Mod Podge most of the time. Elmer's is always a go-to though. Hmmmm. I've got quite a collection myself.
