I am wrapping up a bunch of things all at once....for one, it's Wednesday.  And I've made some jewelry and have something to show for Bead Table Wednesday. I think digging through my stash to send out my bead soup and seeing some of the great stuff I have been hoarding broke something a little loose in me.  For two, I am totally inspired by this months Art Bead Scene inspiration piece by Pablo Picasso, "Two Acrobats with a Dog." I love the colors!

I poured out my special tin of art beads and found a focal made by Heather of Humblebeads and it couldn't be a better match for Picasso's masterpiece:

I fussed a bit trying to find the right combo to go with it, and decided on groups of small stone slices (blue apatite?) picked up last year at Bead Fest Wire from Dakota Stone, and some cream colored glass disks by Mermaid Glass.  In digging around for the usual silver wire I came across a spool of "titanium" colored copper wire from Parawire.  It's not as dark as gunmetal, but not as bright as silver.

And three - as part of the July challenge the folks over at Art Bead Scene are asking that challenge pieces take the form of blue bracelets that can be donated to 7000 Bracelets for Hope.  The organization offers support to families of children with rare diseases.  I sent them three bracelets last year and will happily send this one to them also.

You can check out all the great July ABS entered HERE.
