In our family we give nick names to everything.  EVERYTHING.  Emma's cello was named Mello.  When she switched to saxophone we named it Mad Max the Shiny Sax.  She and her BFF entered the area solo and ensamble competition and today was the day.  The girls did great!  So I thought you should have a close up of MMSS - we'll call it "macro-ish."

P.S. - thanks for all of the lovely comments last Monday when I was a bit (okay a lot) of a Whiney McWhinerson.  You all ROCK!

  4. What a neat shot from over her shoulder. I don't know how she could concentrate with you right there but I'm sure she did great!

P.s. LOVE the naming of objects. We do it with the wild animals around our house (bunnies are all Steve, general lizards are Leroy, and geckos are Gary) It makes me giggle!
