My Bead Fest Wire Splurge!

Yep, I am two for two at Bead Fest Wire, two years in a row I have come across a unique focal that I couldn't leave without.  I have a plan for last years splurge, but haven't actually done it yet.  But Friday night I got home from a long day (long because the work day ended with a party - not a bad thing!) and after the kids went to bed I had an evening by myself (Greg was out of town).  I almost succumbed to the power of the couch-while-TV-is-on-sleepies, but I fought those off, kept the TV off, and picked up the first thing caught my eye....an incredible hollow lamp work bead I bought from Louise Mchaffey.  Lying next to the bead was just enough chain to make the design I had in mind work.  In no time at all it came together like I imagined - yay!  Love when that happens!  I've seen a two-way design like this with a cane glass focal and decided to give it a try with this gorgeous bead.
