Can you tell any difference? And since the "after" picture was taken a week ago, I am afraid it's back to looking even worse than the before picture. But if it's not all cluttered on my desk, how else can I be ready for that flash of inspiration to hit?

But if it's not all cluttered on my desk, how else can I be ready for that flash of inspiration to hit?As I said in a previous post, last week and weekend was a bit crazy - almost all of our relatives were visiting for my husband's retirement from the Air Force. We hosted a BBQ on Saturday and the house was packed! Only about 4 beers and half a brownie were left over. I couldn't have asked for a better weekend for Greg - he loved every minute and that makes me so happy. (Greg is on the right)
In the middle of the craziness I got a sweet package filled with wonderful beads from my awesome Bead Soup partner, Megan. I don't have a picture of the entire collection, because I dove right in as soon as the guests left and have already started making something. Besides what is pictured below there was an awesome turquoise focal and some more silver sparklies. Those big silver beads, the focal and the clasp are going into project 1, and I have an idea for a second project...but instead we'll be headed to a soccer tournament and a cub scout camp out this weekend. Is it wrong to take a bead project on a camping trip? Scouts do value craftiness :-) You can see more of the soup "ingredients" on Flickr.
I love your bead storage idea, are those magnetic herb canisters you have up on the metal 'wall'.
