It has been a very very long time since I've made beads. Finally I turned on the kiln and lit the torch to see what would happen. My son had given me these cool new bead rollers for Christmas (with my husband's help), and I finally ordered and received in the mail a new kind of bead release.
And here are the results! The new shapes are a little wonky - need more practice with those. The new bead release is the bomb dot com - it's called K.R.A.G Mudd. The bottle actually came with directions that were very helpful :-) Notice anything odd - like the bent Dremel bit? No idea how I did that. The bead flew off at high speed and pinged around the sink - but didn't break. I guess that means the annealing worked :-)
