I haven't played with resin too much, but I did get my hands on an Ice Resin kit and I find it relatively fool proof - or at least this fool can get some decent results. I bet it would look cooler had I Mod Podge'd the paper, but I kinda like that it's translucent. I also found that my husband's desk (shhhhhh - he was out of town for two nights) and my new and wickedly bright photo lights are great for working with resin.
See the empty bottle cap on the left? Ooops, missed that one :-)
oh very nice.....resin scares me...perhaps one day I might give it a whirl
ReplyDeleteThis looks like so much fun! I love your color combinations. Very cool pics!
ReplyDeleteOooh, Elisabeth! Those look fantastic! How exciting!
ReplyDeleteHow brill: using bottlecaps as a base. A whole new world. I simply have to get clued up and have a go.
ReplyDeleteLove the looks of these pendants you made.

Your photog skills are amazing! They look great, love the blue one front and center.
ReplyDeleteI like the beads. Very nice!
ReplyDeleteLove the photos, especially that blue piece! I have a ice resin kit but I haven't been brave enough to try it yet. I have some ideas, just too chicken! Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteThat blue one just jumps up and takes center stage! The bezels are beautiful. I like the one hiding with the collage of colors as well. You're making me want to go get some and play!
ReplyDeleteI've just started to play with resin too. I've used Ice Resin, works great but takes so much time. A friend turned me on to Magic Glos, love it!! Beautiful pictures, I love the blue one, colors so strong and bright!!
