I think the point of Sally's Focus on Life series is to actually to get out there with my camera and stretch myself, you know, by actually taking some pictures. But the week days speed by and next thing you know it's late Friday night and I haven't picked up my camera at all. Well, I did a little bit this week on Michael's Field Trip, but it was raining so hard I only got a couple pictures.
Luckily, I have a trusty backup - the Auld Family Photo Files. It's got thousands of pictures - that we more or less file by date and year - which made it easy to find pictures of my babies on their very first day of life. Really, these two are the very embodiment of all that I hope for. They are why I strive to be better and maybe even, slightly cooler, every day.

Enjoy how other's have captured hope over on Sally's blog,
Such beautiful and loving children. They are for sure the true hope of all mothers.
ReplyDeleteChildren are the greatest hope. And yours are beautiful
ReplyDeleteChildren fill our lives with joy and hope. Their bright smiles and enthusiasm give us all hope.
ReplyDeleteThey are so flippin' awesome!! I love those smiles!!
ReplyDeleteAwwww, so adorable. My son had a blue and white blanket like in your photo, it took him a long time to give it up!
ReplyDeleteLove your pictures, the embodiment of hope!
ReplyDeleteLove these!!!
ReplyDeleteElisabeth your post is perfect. Our children are our hope for the future for sure. I love the smiles in the bottom pic.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos!! I wish I was as organized as you! Our children do inspire hope, both for their success and well being, and for us to do the best we can as parents.
ReplyDeleteOur children are our hope for a better tomorrow,...lovely post and equally lovely photos of the beautiful children you have here!!
ReplyDeleteAdorable! Very cute post.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures - both then and now! Happy Mother's Day!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures! I couldn't agree more! My daughter's first day of life was pretty tricky and there is one picture (only one) of her with her whole body inside a ziplock freezer bag. Standard protocol it seemed to be for tiny emergency babies to not loose all their body heat. Hope prevailed - but I've never looked at a ziplock the same way again
ReplyDeleteChildren are our hope for the future. And your post is so appropriate for this week's challenge. Beautiful babies and beautiful children.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!!
