The ever so slightly cooler weather and reddening leaves has certainly put our family in the mood for PUMPKIN.  My kids are still not big veggie eaters, but pumpkin bread disappears fast at our house.  I knew when I saw this recipe for Pumpkin Whoopie Pies from the Girl Who Ate Everything that they would go over HUGE.  We even saved some for Daddy, who in a happy coincidence flew through DC tonight, so we delivered them plane side :-).





p.s. - please don't buy ready made cream cheese frosting when I have the world's easiest recipe: 1 box powdered sugar, 1 block cream cheese, 1 stick butter, 1 teaspoon vanilla - beat room temperature ingredients until smooth.  See - easy!
