I've been talking incessantly about my wedding jewelry project and I finally finished everything and mailed them this week.  But first some background... I met my friend April when we were both deployed to Iraq.  April is full of energy, fun, and unequivocally an expert in her field.  It's hard to believe that it's been a couple years since we were assigned together, but we keep in touch.  I was very excited to hear about her engagement a couple months ago, and sent her a Facebook message boldly volunteering my services to make jewelry for her wedding.  It turns out she had already messaged me through my Beads For Busy Girls page, but it got overlooked in the conversion to timeline.  The e-mails and snail mails flew back and forth and we settled on inspiration designs from the pages of the Fire Mountain Gems catalog - plus or minus this or that part, and colors changed to match the fuchsia bridesmaid dresses. (BTW - I will never be able to spell fuchsia correctly without spell check)

As soon as I finished April's necklace and earrings I wanted to get them in the mail right away (April has been incredibly patient) so the pictures are a little sketchy...

The rest I finished up this weekend and mailed to her Monday.  This bridesmaid set is for a dress with a high neckline - the chain is long so it doesn't interfere.

These two necklaces are for the two bridesmaid dresses that have a halter neck.

And the final two necklaces are for strapless dresses.  I made the pattern of links different on each one.

The earrings for these four necklaces are kind of mix and match.

I've got to admit, by the time I got to bracelets I was running out of steam (and fuchsia crystals) so I suggested to April we go with something simpler that the girls could wear more often after the wedding.
