Man this week flew by!  Not much happening on the bead front, other than a necklace I finished during Emma's choir practice last night.  It's random and simple but also has a pattern - fitting my constant right brain-left brain power struggle.  The beads came together in a packet of goodness from my dear sister-in-law Cynthia - no two are alike, but some are similar colors and similar shape.  Of course I had to make sure that if it was going to be non-matching it had to be 100% non-matching - no two matching colors or shapes next to each other.  Even typing this makes me sound so OCD.   I guess there's a little bit of that in all of us (just nod and agree :-))  Have a great weekend everyone!

  1. I love it, very fun! Even though each bead is different, they work together beautifully. Very nice of your sister-in-law to send you these beads.

  3. It's a really GREAT idea for a necklace & it turned out beautifully! It would be a good way to use left-over beads where we have just 1 or 2. Also a fun way to shop at a bead store, with this very thing in mind! You could pick out a BUNCH of your favorites that way!
