I Heart Macro - World's Best Santa Version

I am blessed with a wonderful husband.  He totally supports my hobbies, and lucky for me, he loves gadgets and technology.  The result:  I got a macro lens for Christmas!  I have no idea what I am doing, and as per my usual MO, I skimmed the directions and dove right in.  Here are the best of my first few shots - 100% raw.  I have to say THANKS also to Lori of Studio Waterstone, she is such an inspiration :-)

    Oh man, I LOVE those!!! That green leaf is so cool, with the rim around it. And the red leaf! And what is the second pic? Couldn't figure out if it was a cookie, or a rock. :) Totally love the texture of the first one. I'm so thrilled for you, and for us, cause we get to see all the cool pics you take!!
