I got back late last night from 24 hours of bliss - Art Bliss that is.  I got to spend Friday and Saturday with my best bead nerd friend Jen V., got to see lots of good bead buddies (too many to name), took two classes, plus participated in the charm swap and Jen V. taught us all to make these awesome paper boxes.  Whirrrrrlwind!  Much more to follow, but since the main class I took was on photography, from the awesomely awesome Kerry Bogert, I'll share some of my work as my entry today for I Heart Macro:

(work by a fellow student)

(my necklace)
(beads and design by Kerry)

(some of Kerry's beads that I brought home :-))

(work by a fellow student)

(Jen, Kerry and Me)

Two important notes:

1.  Kerry is turning this class into an e-course - and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND it!
2.  I'm delaying my Blog Soup giveaway drawing until tomorrow - I am typing like a mad woman right now because dinner guests are arriving any minute - so go HERE and enter if you haven't already!

  7. Hey Elizabeth!! I was wondering if you made it back to ArtBliss this year! Sounds like it was total fun! I've been completely consumed by work. Have not had any time for blogging or beading. It's good to catch up on your blog!

  8. Elisabeth, It was great to see you at ArtBLISS - especially to see both you and Jen together again (last time it was BeadFest when we first met). I'm glad you had a great time! WOW...just look at your photos! Looks like you picked up some new techniques - Kerry would be proud. ;-) That is a great picture of the 3 of you!
