Total Treasures Blog Hop

The beautiful Amy over at Copper Diem decided to host a blog hop based on the wonderful treasuries found on Etsy. She sent each of us a treasury, and our mission was to use the treasury as inspiration to make any kind of jewelry (see all the finer details here).

My treasury is called "Lines" and here is a look at it (click on the picture to be taken to it on Etsy):


It couldn't have been a more perfect selection - I definitely like clean, elegant, architectural designs.  I find that my life and brain are easily cluttered, so latch on to anything that exudes calm. So with the clean lines and the mostly blues in this treasury, I looked over my abundant bead collection and found two kinds of long glass beads that would make a fun architectural pattern:



As I was getting this necklae together I noticed a pre-vacation, half-started earring project that also fit the theme. The pair of cane glass beads I bought in April at Bead Fest Wire and the aqua colored beads are actually small rubber rings from My Elements.  The crystals are from China via my beloved sister-in-law and I must have set them aside for some other long-forgotten project.  Fun, don't you think?
