I had the great privilege of taking another class with Barbara Lewis of Painting with Fire fame. This class was called Enamel Explorations...we mixed Barbara's techniques with liquid enamel, decals, stamps and stencils. We had a great group of folks in the class, many I will see again at ArtBliss in September. Best part of the class?  My best bead nerd friend Jen sat right across from me. Second best part of the class? Great light to get some great macro shots!

See other macro goodness over at Lori's.

  2. I tried to enamel on my own the other day. It was SOOO hard and didn't work out at all. These are beautiful! Like big bubble gum drops! ;)

  6. Love those beads! The orchid and red are so vibrant! I so want to take a class with Barbara. I do kiln enameling but I still suck at torch enameling and I want to get better at it.

  15. Elisabeth, I heard all about the class from Laura - what a GREAT mini reunion of blogging friends! And that is so cool that you were able to take another class with Barbara. I really enjoyed the class I took with her in Reston almost a year and a half ago. And I heard you got a sneak peek of her book - lucky! :-)
