A few months ago my son brought home a cabbage seedling that is part of a program to reward the student that grows the largest cabbage.  This was interesting to an 8 year old boy for about 45 seconds.  But I have managed to keep it alive, and planted it a few weeks ago in the small veggie garden Emma and I are trying our hand at.  The cabbage is perking along, take a look...

But take a look closer...

Someone is eating my cabbage!

Can't be bunnies, because we've already fenced in the garden after my peppers were assassinated. Must be a bug of some kind.  I'm hoping the spray I bought will help.  Until then, check out the other macro goodness HERE.

  6. Rut-rough! I hope your cabbage survives. We have to fence in our sweet potatoes - deer love them. Ugh the critters!

  10. Loved your comment about the 8 year old boy's attention span, and the cabbage shots were great. I'm guessing you have a caterpillar of some sort.
