To be still...it's a skill I have lost over the last few years. As I luxuriated on Saturday getting a massage and a facial (the best Mother's Day gift ever!) I realized that I was having a hard time not moving. Some busyness comes from a busy life, but some, really, truly, is self-imposed. It seems counterintuitive to make "being still" a goal, or part of a "to do" list, but it's on my summer list none the less. Enjoy all kinds of macro goodness over at
Studio Waterstone.
so true...and such a pretty photo!

A terrific goal to be sure and one, I'm sure, that we all need to do more often. I find it impossible to be still - something my husband swears is true! Absolutely love picture, btw!
ReplyDeleteMy mother always asks me when she visits, "don't you ever sit still?" That's what i like about this macro sunday, it makes me slow down a little, love the stillness of the leaf
ReplyDeleteBeing still is indeed a lost art! I do love this shot - it's lovely!
ReplyDeleteI really like the angle you took on this leaf...being still...wobbly me on my knees trying to get a shot.....hmmm. It truly is a lovely shot.
