I can't show you my usual work area, because I am in the middle of my Bead Soup project.  The beads Linda sent me were soooooo awesome, it was pretty darn easy to figure out how to put them all together.  Above my work area is a wooden bead board that I HAD TO HAVE and now use it as a catch all.  It's getting a little too full of stuff even for me.  There is some beady goodness in there from Juls and Floridity and Iktomi and ArtBeads.com, results of classes with Kerry and Deryn and Lisa, and all kinds of left overs from this or that project that are too good to get thrown in a pile.  I'll get to it right after I finish Bead Soup, and Margie and Me, and have you seen Operation Tackle That Bead Stash?  Loving it!

Speaking of Margie and Me, one of the two inspirations this month is a beautiful picture from Spain showing a bright yellow building, with balconies on every window, with ornate black iron work and white fancy-ness around the windows.  I have some vintage large black Art Decco looking beads that I would love to use, but adding round or triangle shaped or rustic looking yellow beads and light gray tear drops together might make a crazy mess.  I'll keep looking for yellows, but if you have any ideas for me let me know.  What about black wire used to wire wrap the small yellow triangle beads into a chain and one of the black beads as a focal?  Hmmmmmm

  1. I like the wire idea! I say go with it and if you don't like it, you can always re-do it!
