...after a great week with Greg and the kids at our favorite winter spot, Smuggler's Notch Resort, Vermont. We stumbled on this place in 2005, I think they had an ad in Family Fun magazine, and we've returned every winter since.  It's a place that just "gets" families.  You know what I really love?  The lift rides.  15 minutes of one-on-one conversation.  We've sketched out lots of plans on those chairs!  I am so looking forward to picking up the tools and trying out some ideas on the bead front, even if it means a return to the "real world."  But enough of my yakkity yakkin, here are some pictures of our adventures.

We got to go on a dog sled ride.  An incredible experience.  The dogs were super friendly with the kids and they are born. to. run.  Flying through the snow behind 8 dogs in the moonlight was unforgettable.

The white dog in the front is Conner - beautiful blue eyes - he was my favorite.

Ski school race day.

This beautiful blue sky also meant zero degrees - brrrr!

Fun in the terrain park.  Even Greg went off of this box, but I didn't get any "airborne" shots of him.
