I got two WONDERFUL lampwork glass disks from Linda at Bella Bead Jewelry - and they called me to make earrings. But...a bit too big? My cheesy phone camera pictures don't do the subtle colors justice - soft minty green and true lavender - the color you see in pictures of lavender fields. I used "jade" rounds from the last Lorelei Michael's Challenge and tanzanite colored crystals from my Christmas booty. They really don't feel too heavy in my ears, and it's been a while since I rocked earrings this big. I used to all the time...what happened? Oh yeah! Long dangly earrings don't mix well with babies. Since my youngest baby is 8 it's time to break out of my rut!

Fun. I have some great lampwork discs and never know what to do with them. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteOk, those earrings totally rock. So, my youngest is also 8, therefore I think I need to follow you into the "big earring" world!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful job!
Wow. They are huge. They totally rock. Love them!! I have a on a pair right now that are a *hair* away from touching my shoulders. Awesome.
ReplyDeleteRockin' earrings! I LOVE THEM! And yes--it's time to break free of ruts--especially for earrings! Thanks for the wonderful idea!
