I've been a long time fan of Happy Mango Beads, and they taunt me with their daily specials posted to their Facebook fan page.  They have the most amazing treasures that they import from Nepal, Thailand, Bali, Africa...name an exotic place and they stock their beads.  Thanks to some holiday sales I had cash burning a hole in my PayPal pocket, so off I went to Happy Mango to do some shopping!  What had caught my attention on Facebook was a sale on felted wool beads from Nepal.  I ordered two sizes, which of course arrived right as family arrived for the holidays.  They were everything I imagined - colorful, fun, and such a crazy cool texture for jewelry.  But I had to wait for our New Years Day of sweats, leftovers, and three football games to pull out my "travel" bead tray and set to work.  Also on my desk as I gathered up supplies were some resin beads I bought at Michaels that look antique, a large orange resin bead I won, and crystals from my Christmas goodies.

Stir them all together with wire and this is what resulted:

I was ON A ROLL (and the football games continued) so I tried another color combo:

No too sure about this one, plus it came out a little too long.  The purple link might become a charm.  With the resin and wool the two pieces look heavy but are really quite light.  You'll notice that I took a page (Ha! Ha!) from my bloggy beady friends and used a book as a prop.  When I flipped it open this was at the top page of the thesaurus:

Kind of suits, don't you think?
