One of the other toys under the tree for me was a new MacBook (I am a well spoiled woman) which has allowed me to play with a program called Aperture. I am not much for reading instructions (how I have survived in the instruction-filled Air Force I'll never know) but I quickly figured out that I had no idea how to work the program. So I studiously went through the "Exploring Aperture" manual and learned a couple things. I know it just scratches the surface (Hello, Amazon.com? Send me Aperture for Dummies!) but here is a look at my first attempts.

I've posted about these pieces before, but just in case you missed it, the hand made glass beads are from Juls (you must, must, must check out here shop here), the wire is from Parawire, the silk is from JamnGlass, and the cotton crystal yarn is from ArtBeads.com.
NOTE FOR JULS: My Aunt received this set as her Christmas gift and swooooooned over them - thanks to your awesome beads!
Hey Elizabeth! Looks like you had a good Christmas! Jason left for Qatar yesterday...wondering what type of bead he can get me out there. Any suggestions???
