Lorelei has challenged her readers to buy the same beads from Michael's and see what results from different beaders using the same beads.  She selected white enamel coated chain, small green freshwater pearls, carved wood cubes, large white freshwater pearls, new jade rounds, and a strand each of white and brown carved cinnabar coins.  The rules are we must use the beads selected, and we can add in up to 2 additional bead types to our design.  We have to create a necklace with the beads, using our own choice of focal. The clasp can be our own choosing, doesn't have to be handmade, but can be if you want it to. There are no other guidelines on form other than "necklace" - oh, imagine the possibilities!  Deadline is October 17th and here is a look at what I am going to buy at Michael's tomorrow night:

Come join in the fun!

(So...why is my text two different sizes and two different fonts?  No idea!)
